New Fire Emblem Fates DLC Features The “One-And-Only” Anna

Fire Emblem If 9-23-2015 - 17

Fire Emblem Fates is hard at work with the DLC chapters already, with the first set of maps being released last month. Now the second set of DLC maps are getting prepped to release, and their focus is set clearly on the lovely Merchant Thief Anna.

The scans, courtesy of Dengeki, show a bit of a preview of what’s to come. A staple in the series, the red-haired thief will not only be recruitable from these DLC maps, but offers some gifts too – check out the release schedule below.

September 17th – Trial Grounds of the Divine General

This map will get you a Crest of the Divine General, and is repeatable.

The map itself is designed with a motif based around Queen Elincia from Radiant Dawn.

September 24th – Anna the Thief

Completion of this map will allow you to recruit Anna, though only on your first time through.

This map was designed for the Anna from Fire Emblem Awakening.

October 1st – Trial Grounds of the Gunman

Clearing this map will get you the Artillery Shooter, and is repeatable.

It based on “Grust’s Wooden Horses”, Chapter 13 from Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryu to Hikari no Tsurugi, or Shadow Dragon in the West.

October 1st – Anna’s Gift

This map will be free DLC, with a unique reward upon clearing. It will be available after clearing Trial Grounds of the Gunman and Trial Grounds of the Witch, and will let you choose either the Artillery Shooter or Magic Circle as a reward. However, you’ll get the reward the first time through.

October 8th – Trial Grounds of the Witch

Clearing this map will garner you the Magic Circle, and is repeatable.

The map is based on the “Osorezan” or “Terror Mountain” section of Chapter 4 in Fire Emblem Gaiden.

All of these DLC maps will be available separately for 250 yen (not including Anna’s Gift, which is free), or in a bundle for a reduced cost of 900 yen.

Fire Emblem Fates is set for a Western release sometime in 2016 for the 3DS.
