Square Enix has announced a new free update for Final Fantasy XV.

The new update, set for a January 21st release, adds the boss and guest party member Aranea Highwind as a training partner and a standby option at camp – alongside other changes.

Here’s a rundown on the new update:

    • Implementation of character swap feature
    • Conclusion of online support for timed quests
    • Addition of compatibility with EPISODE IGNIS
    • Addition of pieces from MULTIPLAYER EXPANSION: COMRADES and EPISODE IGNIS to music player tracklist
    • Various bug fixes

Updated saves will not work on former versions of the game.
