Two new clips were recently published by Atlus for the upcoming Etrian Mystery Dungeon. The first clip introduces D.O.E., and gives us a chance to see more of the game outside of the gameplay. The other shows off a new environment, the fortress; giant enemies (which are probably also D.O.E., although that’s not specified); and more of the Gunner class.
Not to be mistaken with F.O.E. of other Etrian titles, according to Gematsu, D.O.E. are enemies in the dungeons that will attempt to reach the main town. If they do break above ground, they destroy facilities and make the town unusable for a period of time. In order to withstand such attacks, players must erect a fortress and appoint town guards.
Etrian Mystery Dungeon will be available for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on March 5, and in North America on April 7.
