A new English trailer for Earth Defense Force 5 has surfaced, further reaffirming the western release of the humans-versus-alien bug action game.

While our previous report had the PlayStation Asia Facebook page sharing essentially the same trailer, also in English, the above trailer was shared via the official PlayStation YouTube channel.

The PlayStation Asia post for the game mentioned a “summer 2018” release window, while specifics like which regions (North America and/or Europe), a publisher, nor a specific release date weren’t mentioned. It could very well be possible D3 Publisher, the developer on the game, is self-publishing it in western regions.

To further reaffirm the game’s western release are PlayStation Store listings for a $59.99 Standard Edition and an $89.99 Deluxe Edition, both of which holding a placeholder December 31st release date.
