SNK Corporation has announced a new downloadable character for The King of Fighters XIV will make its playable debut at this year’s EVO Japan.

While further details weren’t confirmed, the above teaser leads us to believe the character Oswald could be planned for the game – as he uses a card fighting style.

The new character will be playable within SNK’s booth in the exhibition hall B in the Akihabara UDX building, where the company will also be selling SNK goods. This year’s EVO will run from January 26th to the 27th.

In related news, SNK confirmed they’re working on “lots of new fighting games,” but they haven’t confirmed development platforms and such. You can read more about that here.
