This game looks better and better every time I see an article about it. And I feel even better knowing NISA won’t have their shitty hands on it. I will definitely be picking this up

Think it’s safe to say Digimon is no longer trying to be a children’s franchise. I remember the original series had a scene where the female was in a bikini for a few minutes and that was pretty risque for the show. Cool to see it maybe attempting to grow with it’s original fans a bit.

Looks good now to flip a coin (multiple times) to find out which system to get it for PS4 or PS Vita while waiting for the release :)

Why flip a coin, just think whether you want the best graphics and a disc or digital with mobility but less space on your memory stick?

Kari almost getting digiraped season 2
    Jeri in season 3
Season 4 had an adult main cast

Yeah, BandaiNamco is releasing it in the West next year. PS4 gets physical, but Vita only gets digital.

Leave it to Suzuhito Yasuda to make me want to buy a Digimon game. Also get the feeling this will be a bit of a mix between Devil Summoner & .Hack, which has me excited.

I just hope that redhead with the smug face isn’t our sister because that would make things very awkward.

Penetrate? Oh, you mean ruined like the SAO translation?
…oh no, you’re right! I hope not. The game is set up to be bigger than the previous titles so I’m sure they’ll do a good job with the translation.

    I hope.

You forgot LUCIFER also! Well, his name is “Lucimon” but the point is he’s literally referenced, in his nigh-ultimate form, to be the dragon of Revelation.

Digimon is basically mainline SMT-lite, and that’s a great thing.

Think you mean 5, not 4, but even then they were just a few years older – teens really.

Also, thanks, somehow forgot about Frontier when I was thinking of Savers.

Isn’t his ultimate form the one with a head for a dick?

Haha Think you’re talking about Mara from SMT, but either way it’s undeniable that Digimon is pretty badass

Digimon has always targeted a slightly older audience than Pokemon did, even the original main-cast was older. The series was never all that dark, but it did center around more serious themes, and each new series took everything a step further.

Heck, the main villian of seasons 1 and 2 was basically the devil/boogeyman.

Came to the comments straight away after hearing that. Was not disappointed.

The VA seemed a bit “meh” at first, but I think the rest of the game will be OK. As long as the translation makes the effort, I think the writing will be accurate, and still work.
