Spike Chunsoft announced at this year’s Tokyo Game Show that New Danganronpa V3 will be releasing Japan sometime in January 2017.

Along with the release window, they showed off some brand new footage, including the game’s protagonist Kaede Akamatsu. She is the mainline series’ first female protagonist.

She is described as being a reliable and responsible person with a cheery personality. She is a natural leader with both strong determination and the ability to take action.

New Danganronpa V3  will be releasing for both the PS4 and the PS Vita.
