This week’s Famitsu leaked some exciting pre-E3 information.  The titular princess herself, Zelda will indeed be playable in this game and Famitsu states that she will mainly fight with with a magic sword as well as her bow.

I’m sure we all knew Zelda would be in the game in some form, the more exciting info is that Midna, the driving force behind Twilight Princess will be playable in this title.  She will apparently fight using her hair as well as a shadow wolf that she summons with magic.

Famitsu then goes on to say that King Dodogo and Lizalfos will be in the game and the title will feature multiplayer with gamepad implementation similar to New Super Mario Bros. U where one person plays on the pad and the other plays on the TV.

Hyrule Warriors is set for release later this year.
