Beserk matches the Musou genre very well.

The more character trailers I see from this game, the more I understand that this is just a shameless reskin and only a RESKIN of previous Omega Force games. For instance this character has the exact same moves as that painter guy from Arseland, they just stuck a sword instead of a paint brush in his hand.

The anime was such a bad commercial for this game.

Not one of my favourite characters, but his moves are pretty stylish.

but it really downplays berserk as a manga, for the uninitiated, berserk is just about some guy killing monsters, when its way more than that, hell i would even say, that the combat portions of the manga, arent even the central focus of the manga.

Why? I played that game and I remember the moves. Also google is your friend if you don’t believe me. I like the mindless fun of DW but they really need to change the formula a bit, at least add some real combos, not just blood splatters instead of sparks on hit.

Shoot, the monsters and craziness didn’t really get started until the eclipse. I’m saying that Guts’ brutal fighting style and the dark tone of the series match this kind of game, not that the overall story can be condensed into constant slashing.

Well you could back up your claim with a reliable source we can check out. Or at least give us the character’s name and move and we can look it up from there if there’s a video clip floating about.

I’ll probably play this guy the most because he’s my favorite character from the manga but he’s a bit too flashy for my taste.Comes with the fact that the game will be a Musou game I guess.

i asked because i already do google and they don’t look like that they are the same character.

According to what I see they do have similar pose, and the first 3 generic weak attacks are similar too but that’s it. The rest of the combos looks different to me.

I dont have the game though so my ability to make a comparison is limited so i asked you to at least give a link to a video where he use the same moveset just like in that berserk trailer..
