    Nintendo shared a new piece of artwork for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in celebration of the New Year.

    While it’s not much, the new artwork (featured above) channels artwork from the original Legend of Zelda’s owner manual. Here’s a comparison (via b2j135) of the original artwork:

    Many fans are speculating that the new game hearkens back to the original, featuring a vast open world, more player freedom, and more. This new artwork is certainly a throwback for veterans.

    The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is set to launch for both the Wii U and Nintendo Switch sometime this year.
