Perfect World Entertainment have announced the Sharandar expansion for Cryptic Studios’ free to play MMORPG Neverwinter.

As stated in the press release, players will venture to new areas of Sharandar, an ancient elven keep in the Neverwinter Wood, said to be full or riches and magical items. However, the Feywilds are under the influence of Malabog’s minions and an ancient fey creature. Who will learn the secrets first?

Each new episode of the expansion will add a new social hub, story content, re-imagined adventure zones, new enemies, a new end-game dungeon, and more across three episodes. The first episode- dubbed The Iron Tooth- will focus on the Ruins of Malabog, as players seek a missing elven dignitary.

The first episode of Neverwinter: Sharandar launches February 9th on Windows PC, and March 9th on PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Episode 2 (The Soul Keeper) and Episode 3 (The Odious Court) will launch at a later date, with more information revealed soon.
