Publisher Phoenixx and developer Neotro Inc. announced Xbox ports for NeverAwake, their twin-stick shooter.
The nightmare-themed shooter is coming to Xbox Series X|S sometime in Q2 2023.
“We knew that NeverAwake was a special title the moment we saw it. It was a dream of ours to release NeverAwake on all consoles, and we are proud to be step closer to achieving that goal by coming to Xbox,” said Azusa Kawamura, Producer at Phoenixx. “The touching narrative and smooth gameplay has received praise from players and reviewers alike, and Xbox users will get to enjoy the latest, most polished version of the game.”
NeverAwake has been available since September 2022 release across Windows PC (via Steam) and in January 2023 across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.

“NeverAwake” is a nightmarish twin-stick shooter with a unique worldview and original game rules. The girl fights against vegetables, dogs, school friends, and other things she hates. What does the girl see at the end of the battle? And will she be able to wake up?
“NeverAwake” has a unique worldview with its high quality hand-drawn graphics and beautiful animations.The enemies are not demons…but vegetables and dentists that the girl hates. Things and creatures that everyone has had a bad experience with at one time or another become monsters and attack the protagonist “Rem”.
With over 80 levels, dozens of bosses, and a unique gameplay system that allows players to retry many levels, NeverAwake is suitable for both beginner shooters and experts.
Combine a multitude of weapons and accessories to fight off the monsters in your nightmares.
