Upper One Games have confirmed their Alaskan-themed puzzle/platformer Never Alone is heading to both Playstation 3 and PS Vita.

Alongside the announcement of the PS3 and PS Vita ports is the confirmation of a downloadable content expansion, dubbed the “Foxtales” DLC, which is coming to PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One owners of the game. The Foxtales DLC will be available on July 28th, and it will add three additional levels.

Upper One Games talked up the DLC over on the Playstation Blog:

We decided to base Foxtales on the story of ‘The Two Coastal Brothers,’ as told by Willie Panik Goodwin, Sr. The interdependence between the two brothers in this traditional tale was really compelling because in many ways it reflected the interdependence between Nuna and Fox. One brother is an excellent hunter and fighter. The other is a strong swimmer. To defeat the main antagonist, they must work together, each of their unique talents supporting the other and ultimately proving crucial to their success.

The new DLC puts you in control of Nuna as he rows a canoe, while the fox is able to interact with the spirits and manipulate the underwater currents. This will also change things up environmentally as the DLC is set within the springtime, and not the winter.
