A live-action feature film starring Keanu Reeves was also reportedly in the works at Fox, however the fate of this remains unclear after this Hollywood adaptation was so poorly received.

Furthermore, the show received roughly 56% positive ratings from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes, and according to Netflix’s Top 10 site its debut ratings were good but it plummeted off the top charts after its launch week.

Based on the iconic and legendary 1998 anime television series of the same name, the Netflix Cowboy Bebop adaptation had John Cho as Spike Spiegel), Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, and Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine. From the main cast to supporting characters, numerous questionable choices with the production left even the few hopeful fans unable to give the show a chance.
