Netflix has announced a new series based on the long-running Magic: The Gathering franchise.

The new series is being produced by Netflix and the Russo Brothers (Avengers: Infinity WarAvengers: Endgame), who will serve as executive producers. Henry Gilroy (Star Wars: Rebels, Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Jose Molina (The Tick, Agent Carter) will be leader writers and co-executive producers.

“We have been huge fans and players of Magic: The Gathering for as long as it has been around,” the Russos said. “… so being able to help bring these stories to life through animation is a true passion project for us.”

While details are scant, the series is simply called Magic: The Gathering, and will follow a totally new story that is based on the stories of the Planeswalkers.

A release window for Magic: The Gathering wasn’t announced.
