When Nintendo announced they were finally bringing Super Nintendo games to the Switch, their Japanese branch confirmed they’re also changing up the rate at which they’re adding classic games to their online service, for Switch.

Over on the company’s Japanese website they confirmed the monthly release of NES and SNES games will not continue, instead they’ll be adding games to their Nintendo Switch Online subscription on an “irregular” basis.

Nintendo did promise that more games are coming, of course, but this means it’s not a guarantee they’ll be adding games every month, moving forward.
