Neon Chrome Arrives On Steam Greenlight

Neon Chrome, a spiritual successor to Crimsonland, is now up on Steam Greenlight in the hopes of bringing the game to a larger audience.

Featured above, a new trailer has been released to commemorate the announcement. The trailer showcases the game’s neon-soaked laser combat, as well as the unique mechanics to Neon Chrome’s co-op mode.

Neon Chrome takes place in a dystopian cyberpunk future, where corporations rule over the innocent. Players take the role of a cyborg warrior on a rebellious crusade against the maniacally powerful Overseer. Players fight floor-by-floor in vicious twin-stick shooting combat, using cutting-edge weaponry.

Players can upgrade their cybernetic parts to feature splitter bullets or subdermal armor plating as well.  Each floor is procedurally generated and can be completely obliterated via explosives. However, death is only a new beginning, as the game states.

The game is slated for release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2016.
