As part of the ongoing Skulls for the Skull Throne 4 event on Steam, Focus Home Interactive have opened up pre-orders for Necromunda: Underhive Wars.
Developed by Rogue Factor (Mordheim: City of the Damned), Necromunda: Underhive Wars is a turn-based tactics game about gang warfare in the brutal hive world of Necromunda. The game was originally announced back in early 2018, only a few months after Games Workshop rebooted the miniatures game with the Necromunda: Underhive starter set and rulebook.
The game has largely been radio silent since the first teaser trailer, which you can find below.
Details are still pretty scarce about Necromunda: Underhive Wars, though much like the tabletop game it will focus on narrative campaigns where you level up and improve your individual gangers. There will also be multiplayer battles for up to four players.
The promotional materials have only shown off House Goliath and House Escher so far, though the new Steam blurb mentions House Orlock being in the game as well. The miniatures game currently features eight gangs, so presumably the others will appear eventually in Necromunda: Underhive Wars.
The Steam page lists the game’s price as $39.99, with a 20% pre-order discount.
