Beamdog has announced MythForce, a new original first-person fantasy roguelite game for PC.

MythForce is being released in early access for Windows PC exclusively via the Epic Games Store on April 20th. The starting build of the game will include four playable heroes in its first “episode”, titled “Bastion of the Beastlord.” Further episodes and content will be added to the game during its early access run.

“I’m beyond excited to finally show off our team’s original work,” said Trent Oster, Beamdog CEO. “MythForce is pure, unadulterated fun— right out of the Saturday mornings of my childhood. With a simple yet satisfying game loop, it’s a big departure from the RPG classics we’re known for, but the Beamdog DNA is evident if you know where to look.”
