    A new film has been announced based off of the series My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

    My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! began as a novel series in 2014 by Satoru Yamaguchi and is currently still ongoing. A light novel and manga adaptation began in 2015 and 2017 respectively. The recent anime began airing last year on April 4th, and was directed by Keisuke Inoue (Ao-chan Can’t Study!, Masamune-kun’s Revenge).

    Catarina Claes is a high-school aged otaku that gets reincarnated as the villainess of the fictional otome game Fortune Lover. With the foreknowledge that her reincarnation gives her, she knows that the character Catarina is destined for a bad end and thus she works tirelessly to prevent it.

    Failing that she becomes known as an eccentric noblewoman, spending her time on practical skills like farming in the event she’s ever exiled and disowned.

    Not much is known about the plot of the film at the time of publishing.
