A new key visual for the upcoming anime series My Home Hero has been released, alongside a new key visual.
We already know the main cast of the Tosu family including Junichi Suwabe as Tetsuo Tosu, Sayaka Ohara as Kasen Tosu, and Chihiro Shirata as Reika Tosu.
Joining the cast is Shinichiro Miki as Yoshitatsu Matori, Keita Tada as Nobu Matori, Rumi Okubo as Hibiki, Akio Ohtsuka as Kubo, and industry veteran Kouichi Yamadera as Shino.
Yamadera in particular has been the voice of Interpol detective Kouichi Zenigata since 2011 but he’s most famous for his role as Spike Spiegal in the original 1998 Cowboy Bebop.
My Home Hero is a thriller that follows the life of Tetsuo Tosu, a salaryman who cares a lot about his family. When his daughter Reika gets involved with an abusive boyfriend named Nobuto, Tetsuo uncovers a plot deeper than he realized.
The truth is, Reika’s boyfriend is actually a goon for a gang trying to get close to her. Their real prize is the vast fortune belonging to her grandparents, that is: Tetsuo’s in-laws. To protect his daughter, Tetsuo ends up killing Reika’s boyfriend and his wife helps to cover it up.
Now the gang is questioning Nobuto’s disappearance and what should have been just one murder, soon becomes a complicated of lies and crimes. Just how far are two parents willing to go to protect the happy life they finally built?

My Home Hero is the latest series from Tezuka Productions who are known for their work on Adachi and Shimamura, Dawn of the Witch, and of course the second season of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord.
My Home Hero is expected to premiere this April as part of the Spring 2023 anime season.
