Developer age released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Muv-Luv: Project Mikhail during their livestream event: “ComiFuri: I Don’t Want Dojin Circles to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Web Event”
As we reported last time, Project Mikhail will be releasing on mobile devices and PC sometime in 2021. Players take control of a TSF (Tactical Surface Fighter) mech to fight alien invaders. The TSF mech will be customizable and controlled from a third person perspective.
The team includes Technical Director Yoshiki Kashitani (Vagrant Story, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy XIV). Hirohiko Yoshida (the author of the prequel Muv-Luv Atlernative) is in charge of writing game scenarios and mech design.
You can find the gameplay trailer here during the first day event livestream at the 7:39:50 mark (Embedding has been disabled).
New developments about the Muv-Luv series are forthcoming as developer age continues their event “ComiFuri: I Don’t Want Dojin Circles to Get Hurt, So I’ll Max Out My Web Event”. This includes the confirmation of an official Muv-Luv anime series. Current and past livestreams for the event can be found on the official Muv-Luv YouTube channel.
Project Mikhail will launch in 2021 (supporting Japanese, English, and Chinese support options) for Windows PC and Smartphones.
