Studio Bind has announced Mushoku Tensei season 2 is finally launching this summer.

The hotly-anticipated second season of the beloved anime adaptation is launching sometime in July. A new key visual and teaser trailer were also released:

The new teaser features a white-haired character Fitts (voiced by Ai Kayano), a brand-new character that protagonist Rudeus becomes acquainted with. This is a reverse of the previous key visual which showed the front of Rudeus as he walked away from Fitts.

“I’m Hiroki Hirano, the director of the new series,” Hirano said in a statement. “Rudeus lost his trusted friends and precious family in his previous series. This work carefully depicts how to grow from the bottom of despair. Fans are enthusiastically watching this work, so the production staff are working together to make sure that they will not lose to it. Please wait for a while until the broadcast of Mushoku Tensei II!”
