    • Mui Mui, Kukri Confirmed for The King of Fighters XIV

    SNK Playmore has released the 11th teaser trailer for The King of Fighters XIV.

    Featured above, the new trailer confirms Mui Mui, a kung fu expert originated from a SNKs popular pachislot series, and Kukri, a new and mysterious combatant enshrouded in mystery.

    The King of Fighters XIV is launching sometime later this year, exclusively on PlayStation 4 worldwide.

      This could be a great release for the holiday season. It Tekken 7 comes out this year I’ll have both a 2D and a 3D fighter to enjoy.

      Really like Mui Mui and her fighting style,Kukri reminds me of Noob Saibot.

      So hyped for this game,Western release can’t come soon enough.

      I take it that Ron is doomed to be a cameo character forever. Kukri is pretty much how I imagined he’d play.

      Am I going crazy, or is the artstyle looking slightly better? It’s still nowhere near as nice looking as Xrd 3D models or old KoF sprites, but the last gameplay I saw of KoF XIV it looked even worse than Soul Calibur 2 and now it appears to have some kind of style to it.

      To why is snk returning to making video games? It’s most likely due to the recent impending pachinko laws that will allegedly make it harder to profit from them unless you have a big foot in the door like Konami has. In addition they are going through the motion of legalizing gambling in Japan that could further weaken pachinkos.

      So random wierd Japanese girl and what looks like a super emo sand manipulator. Sounds like KoF characters. Anyone know if they have confirmed Mai Shiranui I really want to see what she is gonna look like in this one.

      A KoF without Mai would be terrible, KoFXII being the example!

      Though my main hopes for the chestiest KoF fighters probably won’t happen…Blue Mary, Vanessa, Bonne Jenet, and Khushood Butt. ;-:

      Mai was in the leaked roster, which so far has been somewhat accurate. I don’t know about Blue Mary though.

      Fortunately Angel’s already confirmed, which I was surprised at since I’m pretty sure she’s only been in 2002, might be wrong there though.
