Revealed during the Day of the Devs showcase, MR. RECORDS is a rhythm adventure that combines music, storytelling, and a cozy record shop into one surprisingly heartfelt package.
You play as George, an older man who finally decides to pursue his dream of opening a vinyl store after years of living a routine life.
During the day, you’ll stock records, chat with customers, learn their stories, and recommend albums based on their tastes. It’s a relaxed setup that feels just as much about people as it does music.
The real magic begins after closing time. Every record becomes a gateway into a surreal musical world where George can literally step inside the songs. These dreamlike levels transform music into platforming challenges filled with rhythm-based movement, obstacles, mini-games, and emotional storytelling.
Developer Glee-Cheese Studio, known for A Musical Story and Headbangers: Rhythm Royale, is also packing the game with more than 40 original tracks spanning genres ranging from funk and rock to hip-hop and 80s-inspired pop.
The game is currently in development for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, though a release date has yet to be announced.
