Sony Computer Entertainment has released a Media Player application for PlayStation 4.
The new media playing application will finally allow users to playback popular filetypes, like MKV, AVI, MP4, MPEG-2 TS, as well as photo and music formats over your home server (DLNA support), and via a USB device.
The free player is now available on the Playstation Store, and upon downloading it, the icon will show up in the PlayStation 4 content area.
