PlaySide Publishing and developer Fumi Games shared a new trailer for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, revealing Troy Baker will voice the protagonist, Jack Pepper.

Baker is known for his starring roles in various blockbuster games ranging from The Last of Us, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, BioShock, and more.

The famed voice actor will star as Private Investigator Jack Pepper, the game’s lead protagonist, described as a former war hero turned P.I. that lives in a world “where danger lurks in the smallest mouse hole.” His story begins with a damsel in distress, though it only scratches the surface of Mouseburg’s seedy underbelly – spiraling into a web of intrigue, involving murder, corruption and the unlikeliest of enemies.

“I have been following the development of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire since it was first teased,” Troy Baker said in a press release. “Its art style, gameplay and 1930s film-noir aesthetic continue to win me over. I cannot wait to keep working with the team to bring Jack Pepper to life and hope to have some exciting things to share as we get closer to launch!”
