Mount Ormond Resort Map to be Updated in Dead By Daylight

Dead By Daylight Mount Ormond

Canadian developer Behaviour Interactive has announced the next map to be reworked in Dead By Daylight will be the Mount Ormond Resort.

Behaviour Interactive announced their ongoing project to update all of the game’s older maps during their fourth anniversary livestream earlier this year. These new map revisions include rebalanced structures to ensure more fair chases between survivors and killers, and the addition of breakable doorways to give the killer more map control.

Breakable doorways are a new feature entirely that came with the Chains of Hate DLC chapter back in March, first appearing on the map The Dead Dawg Saloon. Since then, new maps such as Midwich Elementary School from the Silent Hill chapter have included breakable doorways to begin with. The map updates are bringing this mechanic to the older maps that don’t have them.

Most recently, the MacMillan Estate maps were the latest to be updated and the first from the base game, and before that Badham Preschool from the A Nightmare on Elm Street chapter.

Mount Ormond Resort will be the next map to receive the visual update treatment. The map currently only has one variation and is affiliated with the Darkness Among Us chapter as it’s the hometown of the killer The Legion, and survivor Jeff Johansen.

Dead By Daylight is available now on Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. You can read our review here. (We recommend it!)
