Furyu have upload the debut trailer for their upcoming 3DS Terra Formars game, Terra Formars: Fierce Battle on the Crimson Planet, and it’s got a lot of information for us to go through.
Cast
Characters that will appear in Fierce Battle on the Crimson Planet include:
- Hizamaru Akari
- Komachi Shokichi
- Michelle K. Davies
- Sylvester Asimov
- Adolf Reinhart
- Josef G Newton
- Marcos Elinglad Garcia
- Onizuka Keiji
- Alexander Asimov
Sanjo Kanako, Sheldon Andarin, and Ivan Perepelkina are also confirmed to be available as supporting characters.
Gameplay
Gameplay will include moves called “Fatal Blows”; a “Burst Mode”; active battle events, i.e. QTEs; and “capture action”, which involves shooting nets over the humanoid bugs. Leaderboards, called “Super Mars Ranking”, have apparently also been implemented, which players can access through Wi-Fi.
Story
The action game will contain completely original events. Interestingly, the video teases that, should players fulfill specific requirements, two characters from “twenty years ago” will appear. All-new, original aliens will also be appearing in this Terra Formars game, that will be “challenging, ferocious new enemies”.
Terra Formars: Fierce Battle on the Crimson Planet launches in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS on April 2.
