More Classic Dungeons & Dragons Games Now Available on GOG

Dark Sun: Shattered Lands

In August, we told you about GOG releasing a collection of classic cRPG games based on the older Forgotten Realms: The Archives physical compilation. Today, more old Dungeons & Dragons game have arrived to the store, although this time they’re all made by developer SSI.

Like The Archives, the collection is divided into three segments, this time each priced at 8.99: Krynn series (Champions of Krynn, Death Knights of Krynn and The Dark Queen of Krynn; the games are based on the Dragonlance novels), Ravenloft series (Strahd’s Possession, Stone Prophet) and Dark Sun series (Shattered Lands, Wake of the Ravager).

The release doesn’t seem to be based on any particular physical collection, although it does contain most of the games from AD&D Masterpiece Collection. The inclusion of Krynn games means that the whole Gold Box series (that is – those that actually came in golden-colored boxes; Buck Rogers and Spelljammer games are still missing) can be bought from GOG.

Krynn, Ravenloft and Dark Sun games can be bought here.

About

I play games (I have a preference for old, weird and difficult ones but that's not the rule) and write articles about them that are sometimes a bit too long. Sometimes I also do things other than gaming, I swear.
