Capcom has released their latest financial results for Q1 of this fiscal year, which ended on June 30th.
The company notes they saw promising results in that quarter with a 7.5% increase in net sales over last year. They also talked up the warm reception Monster Hunter World got during its unveiling at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Interestingly, the results note the game will launch before the end of this fiscal year, which ends on March 31st of 2018. Previously, Capcom had the game projected for an “early 2018” release, so this is a bit more of a hard cutoff date.
Monster Hunter World is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
