Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Expansion Digital Sales and Shipments Top 4 Million Units

Capcom have announced Monster Hunter World: Iceborne has achieved 4 million sales physically and digitally, worldwide.

In addition, Capcom announced the base game Monster Hunter World has shipped 15 million units as of January 2nd. The Monster Hunter series- first appearing in 2004, has also achieved total sales of 61 million units as of January 15th.


Finally, Capcom stated they plan “to carry out a number of initiatives to build excitement for the series across a wider audience, including the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne XR Walk attraction, which is scheduled to run at Universal Studios Japan starting in March 2020, as well as the first Hollywood film adaptation of the Monster Hunter series.”

Back in September 2019, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne had shipped 2.5 million units.
