Capcom has announced total worldwide shipments and digital downloads for Monster Hunter: World have topped 8.3 million units.

The game’s most recent sales and shipments report was 7.9 million units, back in May of this year. As the game’s PC launch isn’t until next month, these numbers only include its console sales, following its worldwide release back in January of this year.
