Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy XIV collab event quest announced

Capcom and Square Enix have announced another Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy XIV collab, this time in the form of an event quest.

The new Monster Hunter Wilds and Final Fantasy XIV collab will feature a new “Planetes Protocol (Savage)” quest in the former, inspired by content from the latter.

Fans can expect new weapons and armor unique to that quest, and more. The new event quest will launch for all platforms on September 29th.

For hunters seeking a true test of their skills, Omega Planetes offers an extreme challenge to those that have already proven their worth in the “Planetes Protocol” quest.

Introducing the high-difficulty, permanent quest, “Planetes Protocol (Savage)”. Hunters that successfully fulfil their duty will earn materials to craft new weapons and armor unique to this challenging hunt, as well as being rewarded with a special pendant and gesture!
