Monster Hunter Rise Day 1 Patch Size Announced

Monster Hunter Rise

Capcom have announced the size and scant few details of the Day 1 Patch for Monster Hunter Rise.

As previously reported, the game will be the first mainline Monster Hunter title since the successful Monster Hunter World. Players return to the original style of gameplay, this time taking place in an eastern-style region, along with new mechanics, and monsters inspired by Japanese mythology.

The Day 1 Patch (Ver.1.1.1) will be 600MB (making the game about 8GB in total if you have the digital version), though the website itself is scant on the details of what the patch will do. Users will need to download the update to play online or use DLC.

Famitsu reports (translation: DeepL), that the update will allow users to use the Deluxe Kit DLC, and the content from the Limited Edition and amiibo-based rewards. “In addition, some bugs will be fixed.”
