Monster Hunter Gets a Hollywood-Made Film Adaptation

Capcom has announced (via Games Talk) a new movie adaptation for … Monster Hunter.

The new movie will be made via a Hollywood studio, and not internally or via a Japanese animation studio.

While the movie was announced at this year’s Tokyo Game Show during their Monster Hunter Stories presentation, game producer Ryozo Tsujimoto was keen to point out the movie isn’t related to Stories. Instead, its an adaptation of the main series.

Further details weren’t confirmed, but you can probably imagine whichever Hollywood picks the rights up will probably aim to make a live-action film.
