While it’s unfortunate that the West has never gotten a chance to play Monster Hunter Frontier – the Japanese MMO version of the well loved series – the Japanese version of the game continues to move forward.

Capcom has announced that Frontier is getting a huge update in the form of Monster Hunter Frontier Z. And it will also be coming to PS4 in Japan as well. The update is coming to the game on November 9th, while the PS4 version launches a few weeks later on November 22nd.

Capcom promises a different experience from what the game has offered so far, and aims to put an “ultimate” goal in mind with players aiming for the “zenith” of this new update.
