monster hunter 4 ultimate 02-16-15-1

Capcom has announced that global shipments for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate have exceeded three million units.

The game launched in Japan first in October of last year. Westerners finally got their hands on the game this past Friday, February 13th. To be clear, this milestone includes both retail copies, download cards, and digital copies via the Nintendo eShop.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is the latest in the ongoing Monster Hunter series, an upgraded version of the original Monster Hunter 4, which managed to sell over three million copies in Japan alone.

Expect a review from us for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in the very near future.

Wait! Last I read MH4U sold 2 million in Japan, does that mean they sold a million copies in North America, Oceania, and Europe?

I find Capcom and Square Enix to be so schizophrenic, pretty much all their big AAA Console/PC titles I will rarely touch them, but then they release gems like Bravely Default, TWEWY and Ghost Trick.

Wow that’s amazing for a Handheld game in the west that’s been out less than a week :D
