Capcom has announced some pretty crazy news – Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate has shipped over two million units since the game’s launch, which only happened recently, on October 11th.
That was just this past Saturday, so this means the game hasn’t even been out for a week and it’s already doing this well. This number does include sales of the digital version through download cards, as well as the Nintendo eShop.
In comparison, the Monster Hunter series has sold over 31 million units worldwide, as of today. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is an enhanced version of Monster Hunter 4, which has sold 4.1 million units on its own, since its launch in September of 2013
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate is coming to North America and Europe on the 3DS sometime in early 2015.
