Monolith Soft Boss Wants to Port Xenoblade Chronicles X to Nintendo Switch

While Nintendo and Monolith Soft are readying their next massive RPG launch in the form of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, the developer’s president is still addicted to the previous game in the series, and wishes he could play it on the Switch as well.

When asked (via 4Gamer) for the possibility of seeing the expansive mecha-filled RPG on the hybrid console, Monolith Soft president Tetsuya Takahashi said that he still feels like playing Xenoblade Chronicles X to this day, and how he thinks it would be so good to be able to play it on the Nintendo Switch.

Takahashi noted that porting the game to the new platform will depend on demand and things as usual, however, he said he’ll think about it while discussing new things with Nintendo.

Xenoblade Chronicles X was originally released for the Wii U back in 2015. Would you like to see that game on the Nintendo Switch? Sound off in the comments below! Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is launching for the Nintendo Switch on December 1st.
