Publisher Netmarble and developer Netmarble Monster have fully revealed MONGIL: STAR DIVE with its first official trailer and details.

The new trailer and details show off their new monster taming action RPG, which is planned for a global release on Windows PC, iOS, Android, and unspecified consoles sometime in 2025.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its first official trailer and gameplay:

MONGIL: STAR DIVE is a cute and comical story about the events that unfold as the main characters Verna and Cloud carry out their mission to ‘tame’ monsters in the ‘Mongilus’ guild. 

The two main characters, Cloud and Verna, appear as a couple and perform the roles of ‘botchi’ and ‘tsukkomi’ that we’ve seen in many genre works. Cloud recklessly charges into the opposing camp and gets captured, and Verna rescues him while scolding him.

The mascot ‘Meow’ (name can be changed later), who has the function of removing the bad energy of monsters and taming them, boasts an uncontrollable and chubby cuteness.

In addition to Verna, Cloud, and Mina, you can also see new appearances of several characters including Francis, Lin, and Esde, who were popular characters in the original. You can collect various monsters by using and synthesizing tamed monsters, collect monster rings with unique appearances, and feel the fun of obtaining unique monsters in the process.
