Publisher and developer Konami has announced Momotarō Dentetsu 2: Anata no Machi mo Kitto Aru – Higashi Nihon-hen + Nishi Nihon-hen, the latest in their travel-themed digital board game game series.
Momotarō Dentetsu 2: Anata no Machi mo Kitto Aru – Higashi Nihon-hen + Nishi Nihon-hen is in development for Switch and Switch 2 and will launch on November 13th in Japan.
Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its reveal trailer:
The number of stations and properties featured is the largest in the series!
Combining the two maps of eastern and western Japan, the number of stations featured is approximately three times that of Momotaro Dentetsu: Showa, Heisei, Reiwa, and Beyond!, with approximately 1,000 stations and over 6,000 properties, making it the largest in the Momotaro Dentetsu series.
Additionally, the details of terrain and structures have been refined, and the map’s expressive power has been enhanced, allowing for a more intricate and immersive experience of ‘Peach Train.’
Featuring both Eastern and Western Japan maps!
The game includes two maps—Eastern Japan and Western Japan—allowing players to choose their preferred map to play on.
Limited-edition guest Bonbis from Eastern and Western Japan also make an appearance
In addition to increased variations in the mischief of the familiar “God of Poverty,” new “guest Bonbis” that cause major upheaval will appear in both Eastern and Western Japan.
A wealth of regional events from across the country
In the East Japan map, there are events such as a gyoza consumption competition in Utsunomiya and Hamamatsu, a new card called the “Snowplow Card” that allows you to advance despite heavy snow, and the “Miyazawa Kenji Quiz” in Iwate Prefecture. In the West Japan map, there are events such as an underwater event to search for treasures in the Seto Inland Sea by passing through whirlpools, the “Kyoto Three Great Festivals,” and Osaka’s “Danjiri Festival,” among others, featuring a variety of events unique to each region.
Features exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition!
