Mobius Final Fantasy Worldwide PC Release Coming Soon

Square Enix has confirmed that a worldwide release for Mobius Final Fantasy on PC will be coming soon.

The news comes from an official livestream for the game’s launch in Taiwan, where the publisher confirmed a worldwide release is happening soon. Further details weren’t confirmed.

Mobius Final Fantasy is currently available in English for iOS and Android devices, as well as on PC via Steam – in Japan.

To be honest I’d rather they keep their “AAA title” and give us the mobile version of Tactics on Steam instead.

And, of course, the rather Dragon Quest catalogue they have on mobile right now.

Might be cool. I already play it on PC during work through an emulator, it would be nice if the Steam version had some features that the mobile version doesn’t like native landscape support, AA, etc.

I agree, the game was rather nice and surprisingly low on the pay to win scale. Though it’s also very low on content. My only hope is that modders can fix the censorship in the PC version.

Have to wonder if Square-Enix honestly did use FFXIII as a means to decide if FFXV should be on PC at all. Meanwhile, Bandai Namco Studios is putting their flagships on Steam and NIS seems to have come to their senses despite starting the whole “Buy x so y can be on PC” crap.
