Mistover Guilty Gear Collaboration Faust Dungeon Gameplay

Mistover Guilty Gear Faust

Arc System Works have revealed gameplay of the “Additional Dungeon: Guilty Gear Collaboration Faust Dungeon” in Mistover.

As previously reported, the Japanese physical edition of the game includes the additional content- as the game is published by Arc System Works in Japan. The extra content was also stated that it “may” become DLC in the future.

The gameplay of the dungeon in action was revealed during a recent livestream hosted by Arc System Works. You can see that segment starting at 26:51 (with battles against Faust at 32:19).

Along with enemies wearing Faust’s paper bag over their faces, the dungeon is filled with strange objects related to Faust and Guilty Gear; including doors, chains, gears, balloons, candy, barrels of oil, and other containers of unknown liquids. Some light-flowers even turn into sunflowers with faces on them once activated.

Faust himself pulls out many of his old tricks against the player as well, frequently moving around his side of the field. Along with having a meter much like the fighting game he came from, Faust can activate his “Stimulating Fists of Annihilation.

This forces the opponent to play a cup-and-ball game, with the foe enduring the Japanese child’s prank of kancho should they choose poorly.

Players also seem to be able to earn Faust-themed items for completing the dungeon. The dungeon’s rewards in the livestream include a doughnut, a bar of chocolate, and a present box in the style of Faust’s paper-bag.

As of this time of writing, the content has not been confirmed for the west.

Mistover is out now on Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4. In case you missed it, you can find our review here (we highly recommend it!)
