V Publishing and developer Bad Ridge Games have announced a slight delay for Mirthwood, their medieval life sim RPG.
Mirthwood will forgo its previously announced September release for one a bit later on November 6th. When the game does launch it’ll be on Windows PC (via Steam).
“We want Mirthwood to be the best it can be on day one,” said Daron Otis at Bad Ridge Games. “As a small, passionate team, we’ve worked tirelessly to create a world that players will love, but we felt there were still key areas, like performance optimization, localization, and some of the systems, that need to be fleshed out and more attention before launch.”
The extra development time will let the team fine-tune its gameplay mechanics, improve its overall performance, and secure a fully localized release for players worldwide.
