MIRESI: Invisible Future showcases explosive combat in new trailer

MIRESI: Invisible Future

Developed by CONTROL9, a studio formed by developers who previously worked on Goddess of Victory: Nikke, and published by Smilegate, the upcoming RPG MIRESI: Invisible Future is scheduled for a worldwide release in 2026 across PC, Android, and iOS devices.

The story follows a protagonist known as the Councilor, who travels across collapsing timelines inside a world called Yggdrasil. Alongside a group of heroines, you will attempt to alter fate itself, save different eras from destruction, and restore balance to a fractured timeline.

Gameplay combines real-time tactical combat with strategic positioning systems. You control squads of up to five characters, with battles blending semi-automated attacks and active skill usage. Like many modern anime RPGs, MIRESI also includes character collection mechanics, exploration systems, and progression focused around building teams with different abilities and roles.

Visually, the game is clearly aiming for a high-end anime presentation. The art direction is handled by Hyung-sup Kim “Hyulla” Kim, whose previous work on Nikke and similar projects has already built a strong fan following. That influence is immediately noticeable through the game’s detailed character designs, flashy combat animations, and strong subculture-inspired aesthetic.

The newly released second promotional video gives a better look at both the action and tone of the game. Explosive combat sequences filled with magical effects and large-scale attacks are contrasted with calmer scenes set inside what looks like a peaceful academy or town environment.

Several key characters also appear throughout the trailer, including Ende, a black-haired girl wielding a weapon, a silver-haired girl dressed in pink, and Tieria in a hooded outfit.
