While the original Super Mario Bros. had its “Minus World” discovered ages ago, it has taken over three decades for fans to discover the same type of glitch in the original Legend of Zelda.
A YouTuber known as Skelux has spent a number of hours to figure out if the same kind of glitch exists in The Legend of Zelda, and he actually found it (featured above). The “Minus World” is essentially the bottom half of the game’s map, previously restricted by a barrier that would restart the game.
As this is a glitch, once you exit the regular game world, all kinds of weird stuff happens – like inverted sprites, pulsing caves, endless graveyards with unkillable enemies, and more.
