• Minecraftception – a Functioning Hard Drive was Built in Minecraft

    We’ve seen giant, functioning mechs, real Stargates, and even a 1:1 scale of New York City in Minecraft, to name a few stunning creations. A recent contraption that has come to light, however, has left me completely mesmerized.

    Featured above, you can see a fully functioning 1KB hard drive, built completely within Minecraft. The user, Cody Littley, said that he built the harddrive completely within Minecraft, and without the aid of any third party mods or software.

    I have friends who manage summer camps where teachers use Minecraft to teach young kids – the possibilities of the game itself have evolved beyond just a game itself. Do you guys play Minecraft, and if so – what is the most ridiculous creation you’ve ever made?
