Microsoft has announced that Minecraft sales have topped 100 million units.

This new milestone spans across a multitude of platforms around the world, including PC, Mac, mobile phones, gaming consoles, and even gaming handhelds.

When Microsoft purchased Minecraft-developer Mojang almost two years ago, the game had sold over 50 million copies. Since then, the game has sold roughly 53,000 copies every day, during this fiscal year.
