Minecraft Allay Mob Can Automatically Grab Items for You

Minecraft Allay Mob

Minecraft Live 2021 is coming soon, and with it they’re teasing new features fans can vote on. The second teased mob is the Minecraft allay mob, which can help automatically grab items for you.

The Minecraft allay mob looks like a blue fairy with wings, and will pick up nearby items that are dropped by players in the overworld.

It’s worth noting the mob only collects the dropped items, it won’t duplicate items or go through your chests either. Further, when the allay will drop the items it collects off near a note block, because it apparently loves to dance.

Here’s a teaser video for the mob:

One more potential additions to the game will be revealed through this week ahead of Minecraft Live 2021, with the previous teased mob being the glare – a mob that can warn against monster-spawning darkness. Last year’s winner was a glow squid.

Minecraft Live 2021 kicks off on October 16th at 12 PM Eastern.

In case you missed it, Mojang has been teasing up various tweaks and changes to the game in the upcoming 1.18 update. The new changes in the latest snapshot include even bigger biomes, fixed terrain elevation, and more – read more about that here in our previous report.
